Exchange 5.5

Hi,

We have a server running MS Exchange5.5 and MailMarshal(equivalent of Mimesweeper). MailMarshal polls the ISP for Pop3 mail and forwards mail to Exchange5.5 (on IP 127.0.0.1). For outbound e-mails, users use MS Outlook 2000 to send e-mailsto Exchange5.5 and then Exchange5.5 forwards the e-mails to Mail Marshal (IP 127.0.0.1). There is a problem when the users send e-mail. Sometimes the users has to send an e-mail 2 or even 3 times before the mail is sent. This problem can occasionally be resolved by restarting the Internet Mail Services. I can’t see anything wrong with the set up on the server. It would be most helpful if someone can advise me on what to do.
