Exchange 5.5 in Win2K env

Hey guys… this company has Exc 5.5 running on a Win2K adv server with tons of problems. All search related and posted every 15 minutes in event App log. Starts with event error 7010 ,warning 3019,er 9000,er 7037,er 7039,er 3047,and warning 3036. Any help would be appreciated.

HERE IS THE 1ST ERROR
The description for Event ID ( 7010 ) in Source ( Microsoft Search ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: ExchangeServer_MAILSRV pubFA1F0C3A, 8004111e, The Indexer failed to update or access information because of a database error. Stop and restart the Search service. If errors continue, reset the catalog and rebuild the index. In some cases, it may be necessary to delete and recreate the catalog.
