Exchange acceptance notifications

I recently set up exchange 5.5 running on win 2000 server. When a employee selects to accept a schedule event it is not sending a notification message back as to whether they accepted or not.

This did not solve the problem. Basically when I am sent a task and I accept it prompts me whether I would like to send a receipt acknowledging my acceptance. The other person will not get it even though he is an administrator. He will however get an acceptance notification from another user who is also set up as an administrator.
