Exchange Distro List "Send on behalf of"

By InfoSec (Ralph) ·
I have a group of people in the "Client Services" department. They all need to be able to send FROM the "ClientServices" mailbox WITHOUT the return address being "ClientServices sent on behalf of <user>"...HOW do I do that? I know it's possible, where are the settings?!

In the properties of that mailbox make them all delegates. Then simply have them load that mailbox in addition to their mailbox in your mail client. Much easier if it's Outlook 98 or above.

Hi,

You need to go to Exchange Admin program on Exchange server (or where ever it is installed) and give users SEND AS right. Assigning delegate access rights from outlook will give users Send-On-Behalf right and I don't think that is what you want.

Cheers,

Abu.
