Exchange Message Size Limit Suggestions..

By CGriffith318 ·
Im looking for some suggestions on what a good size limit on email messages would be. Our company usually does not have large emails but sometime we get the user that wants to send 3gb of pictures to there home email.

Thank you for any suggestions.

I would suggest 10MB. It'll allow for most traffic, while cutting down on that 3GB movie they want to e-mail home.

The average ISP limit is 2mb, and the average corporate limit is 5mb.

The size limitations all depends on the
bandwidth available for exchange servers for
uploading & downloading of mess.
If you have around 382 upload & 512 download
DSL router, the idle size restriction should
be, a) Incoming : 2.5mb, b) Outbound : 1.5 mb
