Exchange Recipient Update

In my exchange 2k server when i create a user and perform exchange task in order to make it mailbox enable user , it takes entire day to create the mailbox on server. my query is why such slow creation of mailbox is happening on my server although there are no error messages in event viewer.
The default recipient update policy is okay hten why it takes so long.plz answer

I am sorry I cannot tell you precisely which registry hack you need to resolve this issue but I have come across it somewhere. Definitely in the registry. This then forces the update to take place instantly.

Is the Service Pack on your server up to SP2 on the OS.

Once you create the mailbox Exchange doesn't displace it right away, unless you send a email to that box. Then it should show up in System manager. If you set the recipient update policy to always run they should appear in the GAL almost immediately.
