EXCHANGE SERVER PROBLEM

If these clients are on your internal network, why are you trying to use POP3 to get the mail from the server to the client?

The POP3 interface, as far as I know, only works on the outside of the IMS so your internal clients will need to attach in the normal Outlook/Exchange manner using the local network. You'll also gain a LOT of additional functionality that way.

The other answer is almost damn right. I have seen this before but from the other way round, configuring VPN clients to use POP3 to pull mail off Exchange from outside. They didn't authenticate to the domain when the tunnel was established, so couldsend mail but (in Outlook, not Outlook express)no mail and no error message when trying to download off the server. Set them up with the proper Exchange client, and make sure they are logged into the domain correctly, et voila!
