Exchange Standard Storage

I have exchange 2000 Standard (16GB limit). I cannot purchase the enterprise. I have not imposed limits, but I am getting ready to. Do any of you have any good suggestions/programs that would allow users to archive ( I have some using .pst files), but they will max out 2GB fast. I was just wondering what others are doing with limited email.
