Exchnge Grpwise Connector files reqd?

Using an Exchange connector for Novell Groupwise creates a exchsrvr\connect\gwrouter folder. This has what appears to be temporary folders, such as gw2mex & gw2mexa, containing various message body files. What is the correct method of dealing/deleting these folders, as they are increasingly using up hard-drive space? There doesn’t appear to be any info regarding how these folders can be managed.
