Exir codes reported by Scheduled Tasks

By RSurfer ·
Where do I find the exit codes explanation that appear in
the log file created by Scheduled tasks?
0,1,3,8,9,10 & b all appear in the log but I have not been
able to find a matrix that explains these codes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Exir codes reported by Scheduled Tasks

According to Technet article Q267031, "Result Codes in Scheduled Tasks Indicate an Error Occurred in the Task":
"Result Codes and Error Conditions are defined in Ntstatus.h or Winerror.h. These files are available on the MSDN Web site or through MSDN subscription. Because these are commonly used files, a search with the search engine is not likely to produce any useful result. You may have to search the MSDN CD for the file names. If you want to download the files, download the current Windows2000 Driver Development Kit (DDK). "

You can download this DDK kit here:
http://www.microsoft.com/ddk/installW2k.asp?SD=MSDN&LN=en-us&gssnb=1
(please remove any spaces)

That link is also on the Technet article.

That is probably your best bet, unless you can find it online somewhere. I found a slightly modified version of ntstatus.h (one of the files the Technet article lists has the error codes) here:
http://gd.tuwien.ac.at/cgi-bin/wwwtar?/graphics/libs/alsolibs/oless.tar.gz+oless/props/h/ntstatus.h+text
(again, remove any spaces)
Takes this web page a long time to come up.

hope this helps
