I am trying to use exmerge to copy mailbox data from our current server/domain to a new server domain. The old ran exchange 5.5 sp4 on nt sp6a(nt network) and the new runs exchange 5.5 sp4 on w2k sp3 (w2k network). I have successfully performed step one and created all the pst files. I have exported the current exchange directory, and successfully imported it into the new exchange server (some name changes). I have been able to send/receive email from the new server. But when I run exmergestep 2 I am not getting very far. I get the following error: “error getting list of private information store databases on server “newserver”.” Is there something I am missing? Do I need to have the .pst files in a certain directory? Any help is greatly appreciated!
