We are currently implementing a VPN (MPLS) solution for a client and experiencing problems. On the sites that have been cut-over to MPLS, those branches are experiencing major printing problems. Packets of data are being loss (small amounts eg, +- 10 in a 1000) and stalling printers. The company uses an online system, Kerridge, and with the printers stalling, the customer cannot trade. Bandwidth usage on the lines is only +- 30%. Any suggestions, advice on things to check or comments please? Much appreciated.

We experienced the same problem when we were in the testing phase of our cut-overs. Our Telcom vendor had to put hardcoded routes in the router and I had to HP printers with the JetDirect cards in them so i was able to use the Access control on the JetDirect cards to limit what networks could use that printer.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
