Just tried to boot up laptop after several days idle. Wallpaper comes up but no desktop icons. Get a quick message that says ” Explorer.exe – unable to locate component. This application has failed to start because iertutil.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem.” I click OK, then get “bcmwltry.exe – unable to locate component. This application has failed to start because iertutil.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem.”
I can go to Task Manager, but can’t seem to get anything to run.
Not a real geek, so any help will need good explanation
