Exporting address book

When exporting the address book Contacts from Outlook Mail, I can’t seem to find the exported file. Is the filename contacts.xls? Where is this file located? After installing OfficeXP I lost the address book in my Outlook Express and instead got an old contacts list which did not have recently added addresses.
