Exporting reports from Shoretel to Excel.

I need to export a report from Shoretel’s Data Manament console to excel for comparisson to other in-house stats. No matter what option I use (export to excel, CSV, etc) the (elapsed) time fields do not import as a value but as text which, even after formatting the cells in Excel, cannot be used in calculations. (I tried specifiing the field as “time” but that creates a time stamp rather than elapsed time. I need to use these numbers in formulas without reentering the data affected.
