extracting data directly into excel

By Development Support ·
I have set up a web site, and users will fillin a form to which the data entered will be sent via email in the form of a report such as

i need to have either excel or access grab the data from these emails and put them into the appropiate column or database. How can I automate this or is their a good program out there that will do this for me, instead of copy/paste each time.

I have not yet set up either access database or excel sheet until i know if this is possible.

well, have php or xml or cgi add it directly to the database on the server, no? but until you get that working, have Outlook do it parse the emails. you may find yourself pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to figure out the code to do this from Outlook. plenty of programming examples in the help files, as i recall. i was able to figure out how to get the stuff out of the emails and open and append it to a file...did it to each email as it came into the inbox, i believe...sorry, am not a good enuf coder to have any samples on hand but that is why i think you can do it, i am not very good and i did after only a day or so of futzing with it...the sky is the limit when you see what you can do with these emails you will be amazed...but better market for cgi, php, java, xml programmers, eh?
