I have a personal facebook page. But attached to that is my business page. It’s for my band. I have added another band member as an editor of the band’s page. By question is this: Are my facebook messages sent by me (not the band) visible to the band member with editor’s role on the bands facebook page?

What does your band member answer when you ask him?
And what exactly is “attached”?

I haven’t asked him yet. I just noticed yesterday that when I pull up the band’s site on my computer I can also see all my personal facebook messages.

What I mean by “attached” is that on my personal facebook page, it also allows me to switch accounts to the band’s page and post as the band.

Visit your group on desktop.
In the left menu, click Moderate Group then select Create Rules.
Click Create Rule and add a title and description.
Click Confirm.
To adjust the order in which group rules appear, drag and drop the rules into the order you’d like them to be displayed.

Yes, your personal Facebook messages are private and not visible to the band member with an editor’s role on the band’s page. The editor’s access is limited to managing the band’s page and its content, not your personal messages. Your privacy settings remain intact for personal interactions.
