Failed published programme

I’m using VB6 Pro Edition. If I publish to CD a programme without an ADO these work fine when tested. If I include an ADO using Jet51 and publish this to CD, these will not work when tested on a seperate system. Am I wrong to believe that when I deploy my creations to CD these should stand alone?
