I have 17 new PC’s that came installed with
WIN2K. All of our Apps were installed under
the local Admin Account. All of the shortcuts
and programs run fine.
When I placed the computer on our domain
(running WINNT 4 SP5)The desktop shortcuts
donot work now and several applications when run return the error: “Failure to update the Registry”. WIN2K is running on
a single NTFS partition. I have tried various permissions but the error is still returned.
