Fault Tolerance for Unix.

I'm not even in the Unix world, but I would like to know is there third party to have a disastery revovery for the Solaris? Any suggest would help.

Solaris can use any Raid configuration you want. You can use DiskSuite made by Sun or Veritas Volume manager by Veritas. We currently use both. DiskSuite on the minor Sun boxes (no attached array units) and Veritas Volume Manager for our 27x7 oracledbservers. There is plenty of companies that offer software for recovery. Veritas Backup agent can copy files to a single computer with a multitape unit attached. This can copy any files from Unix boxes or NT boxes.
