faulty d900 camera

Hi people,I have a samsung d900 wich camera doesn’t want to work.everytime i choose to take a photo the thinking screen appeares and about 30 seconds later it says preview error.Any idea if it needs a firmware upgrade or should i just go and chuck it in the river?

If new, read the manual, it will likely tell you how to set up the camera. If it is defective return to where it was bought, or to manufacturer.

If it is new and no manual, go to website, they often have a manual on site. Or, see if they have help section, or, just email them with problem. Most manufacturers want your business and will help you out.

Chucking it out should be last resort, unless you already want to buy another camera.

Besure that the slot for the memory card is clean and the edge of the memory card has clean contacts. Replaced the batteries and be sure those contacts are clean too.
