File link in excel

Hi, I am trying to link a cell to a workbook, I know how to link to one workbook, but what Im trying to do is link it to an xls file which part of its name changes per file. Is it possible to link to just part of a file name/an xls file regardless of name within a folder where no other xls files are present bar that workbook and the one in question?!
If anyone can help I would be most appreciative! Cheers, Brian.
