In Win 98 you could go to "Programs" and right click on a bare spot. You would get a menu and one of the options would be "New Folder", this is no longer available in Windows XP. My programs are filing up the Programs space rapidly and I would like to create new file folders and move programs to them. Has anyone seen or heard of a work around?

If I understand Your Question...

Are you talking about right-clicking on the menu?

The easiest way to do this is to get one of the free dual-pane file managers (I use Servant Salamander - stupid name but it's a great tool) and navigate to (I think) [d:]\Documents and Settings\Profiles\{user}\Start Menu\Programs.

Now you can move things around and organize to your hearts content.
