File options of a Scanned Paper

I would like to import (into .xls?) a copy of a paper that I receive each week from the main office in another state. They send the paper to my printer each week (from Oracle) and I would like to convert it to a spreadsheet,database,etc.(in microsoft office or wordperfect). This wasy I can send it by email attachment to the proper team leader’s home computer. Is there an easy solution?
