I am setting up a new Win 2000 Server Network. There are 5 workstations and 1 server. I will partition the workstations HDD into 2 partitions. One partition for the OS which is Win 2000 Pro in NTFS & the other partition for the APPS in FAT or FAT32. The server will have (2) SCSI HDD and be formatted with the Win 2000 Server in NTFS and drive D:\ in FAT or FAT32. Is there a problem saving data from the workstations to drive D:\ on the server in that they are formatted with FAT, FAT32 vs. NTFS. Are there any compatability problems in this. Also does this seem to be a logical design for this small network. I will be running ACT 2000 which will access the server for data. Please respond.
