File/Folder listing in Excel
I need to scan a network drive which has over 9,000 Access Databases on it and put the results (folder/file name, date modified, last user, size etc) into an excel file. The DIR > file.txt is useless as it would take me a lifetime to manually edit it. Kutools just crashes Excel. It isn’t possible to filter databases in a Windows Folder, select all and drag to excel because for some batshit reason, when you try to do that Excel tries to open the files, rather than just record the filename (I didn’t think this would work but someone suggested it). Does anyone have a solution that works?
