Find/Replace excel sheet links

Hi everyone,

I’m working in the aerospace industry with Airbus and they’re still using office 2000, thus forcing us to because of file compatibility issues.

I’m curious as to know how many linked excel tables I could put in a document before it starts acting funky? It’s all results from calculations but re-cutting/pasting all the tables into Word takes a long time and is source of a lot of little clerical errors.

I’d like to use linked tables and then do some kind of “find excel links”/”cut & paste as picture” macro. Can anyone suggest a good place for Word macros?
