Find user based on IP

by jpcandiff . Updated 22 years, 10 months ago

I need to find the location of a pc on our network. If i knew the user that is currently logged in, it would be helpful. The info that i already have is as follows:
Ip Address, Workstation name, and Mac address.
Nbtstat -A does not give me any info.It returns an Unknown Host error. I can ping the ip address. The workstation can not be located in NDS(Novell 6). I was able to get the Workstation name from its DNS entry.
I have a w2k DNS server.Any info will be greatly appreciated.
