Finding MBR

By curtkiesling ·
I am running Win ME and was dual or triple booting Win 2000 and WinXP beta. I want to lose the O/S options that allow you to choose which O/S to run. I know its in the Master Boot Record but how do I find the MBR?
Thanks

The file that controls OS selection at boot is the boot.ini file. To get rid of the OS selection screen boot from a ME startup disk and at the a: prompt type SYS C: hit enter and when it is finished, reboot.

That's the boot.ini file. you can find this file on the root of C:. open it with notepad and rem out the OS you don't want with ";" in front of the line. also change the timeout seconds to 0.
