FIREFOX 3.6

By mailman953 ·
since updating my firefox to 3.6 have noticed, esp w/ 'my yahoo' that each and everytime I have to reenter my personal information, before the update I could log in and not have to start afresh (if elected, i.e. "keep me logged in for 2 weeks" ......now I constantly get popups that I have to allow and after a few minutes of 'allow' popups will be allowed to continue into yahoo, like I use to ......in other words what use to take about 20 seconds to do w/ a log in is now taking about 3 minutes = WHAT IS GOING ON, AND WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO CORRECT THIS NUISANCE PROBLEM
THANK YOU,
HAROLD H.

You have just found what a more secure Browser is capable of doing. Here there is nothing wrong with the Browser as it's killing that Log In each time you shut it down.

The easy way round this is to use a Password manager like Robo Form or something similar to ignore the need for Popup's completely.

If you don't want to use a Password Manager you can always switch back to an earlier version of Fire Fox.

The yahoo Sign in is based on cookies. Are you deleting them?
