Fixed PC hang at Mup.sys on Windows XP boot
I Was able to recover the system using PC recovery tool that came with my HP system. Fortunately, my HP system came with PC recovery tool and it's also built in the windows XP OS installed on the machine. On reboot, before the Windows XP starts to boot, I hit F10 key for PC recovery. This PC recovery tool restored windows to its factory/manufacturer's state. Which means any software/applications I installed is lost. My data files remain intact though. This worked for me, as my system is fairly new and I only installed few softwares/applications, which I can reinstall them.
