    fixing my windows xp media pc

    I have a used Window xp with windows media center. window media center log in pops up. I do not have the password. How do I get pass this, or do I reboot the system. If so what do I do to get a reboot disk (driver).

      You go to the person who created the password

      And ask for it or if you are the guilty party go to your records and get your Backup Password list and use that.

      If you don’t have access to the original person who created the password or you failed to keep records you need to reinstall the OS from the Original Install Disc/s. If you don’t have these you can purchase them from the maker of the computer.

      If you are desperate for the Data contained on the system take it directly to the Makers Authorized Repair Agent and get them the fix the problem. You will of course need to provide proof that you actually own this computer but that will not be a issue I’m sure.
