Flashing my Inspiron 6000 screen a second at startup and goes to black

By rajuuprety ·
Once I read the issues posted on the forum about the Inspiron 6000 screen, I immediately bought the screen inverter and replace with the new one to make the screen visible.

Even if I replaced it, I am still having the same issues that I had before: When I turn on my laptop, it flashes the Dell boot screen bright a second and goes totally dim. I still can see the icons of the desktop when I use the torchlight. If I connect it to the exterior monitor, it shows everything perfect.

I would say that your screen is faulty.

Either that or you need to adjust the screen brightness when you see your desktop.

Please post back if you have any more problems or questions.

Well if you replaced the Inverter

And didn't replace the Back Light that is your only other option or replace the entire screen.

But it really sounds like a Back Light not staying on.
