Floppy mounting problem

By CyberGod ·
When I try to mount my floppy under freeBSD with "mount /dev/fd0 /floppy "it gives me "Incorrect super block". Any ideas how to mount it.

are you real sure it is /dev/fd0 ? I remember BSD having different naming conventions than Linux. Otherwise, dig under the hood of your box, there may be a cable loose, or other hardware related problem.

Try also specify the type of floppy's filesystem with -t option (see more in mount manual page). And be sure of device name!
