Form entry disabled – all browsers (not all forms)

I have a weird issue happening that I have run out of ideas. Starting several days ago (a week maybe), my browsers in my home have not been able to enter text into a form entry field. The primary thing I have run into was trying to leave a written review in audible.com. I can select the star ratings, and I can use the text search box at the top. But I am unable to put focus in the headline and review text boxes. Around the same time, I also noticed I am unable to view the movie times on amctheatres.com. Page loads fine, I can see movies, but when I click on “Buy Tickets”, the page that comes up is only black, nothing loads.

Both started the same time and I am assuming they are related. But I am at a loss what to look at. This happens on 3 different devices (home laptop, work laptop (in home), and chrome tablet), and it happens using the following browsers: Chrome, Edge (just a different Chrome OS), and Firefox. My home laptop is not using a VPN, my work one is on my work VPN. Home uses a different internet security tool than my work laptop.

EDIT: meant to add that I am able to enter text in ebay.com to leave a written review to a seller of an item. So it is not all web forms.

At first, I thought this was something wrong with AMC theatres web page, but then when I also had problems with Audible.com, I figure this must be something going on with my systems/network. Could something be getting blocked by my WiFi provider (Verizon) or router? I WFH full time and have not gone outside the house with my devices in this time so I can not say how this works in say the local library.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts on what to check.

      Things to check:
      1. How do these sites behave on a smartphone (or tablet) when using your own WiFi.
      2. How do these sites behave on a smartphone (or tablet assuming it can receive wireless data from your phone signal provider) when using wireless data in stead of Wifi?
      3. How do these sites behave on your laptops somewhere else (local library, family, friends) using WiFi.
      4. How do these sites behave on your laptops somewhere else using an Ethernet cable (if possible on the laptop).
      5. Make a nice small html-page with a form, say test.htm on your laptops and open that in your browsers. Then there is no WiFi, no router, no ISP, just your laptop. Check that also on another device (from your family or friend, where all those sites that don’t work with you work fine).

Note: apparently you could fill the form on our site, or you couldn’t have posted your issue here. So it are just some sites in the browsers you tried on your 3 laptops in your house.

Thanks for your reply. The only test I have been able to test so far is with my phone. First, on WiFi, the AMC Get Tickets page will not load. When I turn off WiFi, it still will not load. However, the opposite is true for audible.com for writing a review – I can create/edit a full review using my phones Chrome browser – with or without WiFi on. Perhaps these two problems are not related after all.

I’ll try to take my laptop and tablet to the library “soon” and test those on their wifi.

OK – I tried all but step 5 above. I have no idea how I would create my own webpage, but also, I am unclear which technology to create it with as I suspect that may play a role. To sum up, in addition to what I tried earlier, today I tried:
          3) Brought tablet and a laptop to the local library and connected to their WiFi. Same two sites did not work. Rebooted both devices and still they did not work. Neither of these devices has a data plan so I could only try WiFi.
          4) I could only connect to an Ethernet cable using my own network. So partial credit here. But I tried another new laptop. This laptop has been powered down for about 2 months, long before the problem showed up. I confirmed neither app worked prior to plugging in the ethernet cable, and then after plugging it in and restarting, confirmed they still would not allow me to access those page.

Can people try to see if they can see show times at this link using a Chrome browser?
          https://www.amctheatres.com/movie-theatres/boston/amc-dine-in-framingham-16/showtimes

Also, if anyone has an Audible account, could you try to rate any audible book that you have? I can click on the star ratings, but I can not put focus into the Headline section, or the main text section.

Yes, several other webpages with forms do load for me. This is why I think it may be the technology of the form thats tripping me up.

      It’s not me…

OK – after extensive cross testing with others, this is really not me in either case. Also, I reached out to Audible.com and they confirmed they know the review pages are not working. As for AMC, no word from them but I have had multiple people try this on their systems and none can get it to load.

So, not a real problem. Thanks for the efforts here. 🙂
