I am developing an application in VB6 that has several forms. The forms with their controls are very similar. To save time and energy, how can I create a form template and just load it each time I need a similar form and just modify it for my needs?

There are several ways to go about doing this such as creating a simple add-in that loads the form like the VB New Form menu point, or creating a Wizard/Assistant similar to the one that comes with VB.

You can also make it very simple by creatingyour template and giving the form a unique name and saving it also with a unique name such as: Templt1.frm

Then load this template form as you need, (Ctrl-D), give it a new name and right mouse click on the name in the project explorer and save it under a new name. Done!
