Forwarding email

How do you forward emails from one account to another account when received. I do not mean from making up outlook rules but from active directory. I believe you have to make a new contact for the user. If somebody can provide me with a link or instruction to do this it will be very much appreciated!

Both accounts have to be users or contacts in AD, and you have to do this on a server or WS that has the Exchange system management console installed as well as the AD administrative tools. In AD Users and Computers, open up the properties of the user whose mail you want to forward. Click on Exchange General tab, click Delivery Options and select the forward to: option; then fill in the name of the mailbox you want to forward to. You can only forward to one other mailbox this way, and the only options you have are to deliver the mail either to both mailboxes or only to the forward to mailbox.
