Foxy Bookmarks

I would like to know how I can save my bookmarks from Mozilla Firefox. I know that using Internet Explorer I can just copy and paste the Favorites folder. Is tha same applicable to Firefox? This is for when I reformat Windows I cna keep the bookmarks.

yes, you can copy the bookmarks file anywhere you want, then just import it after reloading.

if windows xp it’s under
documents & settings\ $user_name\application data\mozilla\profiles\default\$session-name_directory\

in linux it’s under
Home/~user/.mozilla/profiles/default/$session-name-type-directory/
