Fresh install of Win 2K Server on RAID5

I have a RAID5 array (3x18GB) and want to install Windows 2000 Server. The array is freshly initalized and formatted, but setup does not recognize the volume as a valid location to install Win2k. This is the only storage media in the Server. Is there a maximum size for a boot/install drive?

The array is using hardware RAID on a Mylex ExtremeRAID 1100 using channel 0, drives 0, 1 & 2. No other drives are in the system other than a floppy & an IDE CD-ROM.

Additionally, I have an old installation of Win2k Server that was on channel 1, drives 4, 5 & 6. I have removed this RAID 5 array to make room for the new one. Is it possible to use Norton Ghost 7.5 to clone the array? Are there any changes to make to the boot.ini after cloning? Is there a Mylex RAID DOS driver required for Ghost to see the arrays?

You most likely need to provide the right drivers for the RAID controller. At the very beginning of the W2K install you will see a message to press F6 if you want to use OEM disk drivers. Download the latest drivers for your controller and insert the disk when prompted.

I have tried this to no avail. Mylex recommends against this procedure for this card, but I have tried both ways.
