Frozen Outlook 2003

I have XP Professional and Outlook 2003. I use IE7. After using Google Desktop for several weeks (which helped me to locate many important e-mail pieces and other files) my Outlook suddenly froze and no efforts on my part to unfreeze it have been successful. I tried uninstallation, cleaning the Registry, repair the pst file, but because the Outlook is frozen I cannot clean-up the Add-In (I had been able to do it for erratically performing AVG). Any suggestions will be appreciated.
