There is two boxes, one Win98 and one Mandrake 9.0. Win98 runs WS FTP and Mandrake runs gftp. They are connected to cable modem through a switch then a Linksys router. The win box ftps (upload) at about 250 kbps the linux does about 30 kbps. I just cant have the win box out running the mandrake like that. What can I do the check my network connection speed? or what might be slowing the ftp uploads?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
