First and foremost, you must decide if you want to use Android or Apple.
Keep in mind that some games/applications may not run on both systems. I prefer Android and you might like Apple instead. Determine a budget if you are shopping for a newer phone. Don’t buy a phone with minimal memory or one that is several years old because it may not be fully compatible/optimized for newer applications/games.

There are a lot of phones out there, so it depends on your budget. It would be helpful to know what kind of games you usually play. I would also recommend getting a brand protection plan. It’ll keep your phone safe from damage and save you money on repairs.
The “best” smartphone for gaming can depend on several factors, including your budget, personal preferences, and the type of games you plan to play.
I personally use these two phones to play games
Phone 13 Pro Max:
Apple’s A15 Bionic chip provides excellent gaming performance, and the iOS App Store has a wide range of high-quality games optimized for the platform.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra:
Equipped with a powerful processor, a large AMOLED display with a high refresh rate, and a large battery, making it a solid choice for gaming.
