    hello, as a person that uses windows 10 with a shitty pc. because of it, I can’t play many games I own, I was gifted Minecraft by my best friend because I could play Minecraft on it, but because of me changing the pcs to a “better” CPU, I cant play it anymore. because of that, I’m thinking to change to a Linux distro. I would be using Zorin OS to play games. the games I would be playing are Roblox, Minecraft, Unturned, Terraria, and Cry of fear

    the specs of my pc are as:

    Intel Pentium (R) Dual-core CPUE5800 3.2GHz. with 1 socket and 2 cores.

    250GB HDD

    4GB of ram and

    Intel Integrated Graphics. (i was planning to get GT 710 but many people said no because I would need to update the CPU, which I don’t have money for it. and don’t like to take a risk and destroy my entire CPU and motherboard because of it.)

    let me know if it’s a good decision or not. if not, then ill have to wait till god knows how long to get a new pc ;w;

      You’ll have to read the system requirements of the games you want to play to see if they can be run under Linux. Then, if they do, find an SSD to install Linux on and see if you’re happy with the result. Leave your HDD unchanged so you can keep using that if you need.

      I don’t see why installing a graphics card would mean you need to change the CPU. And if the current CPU, for some very unclear reason, isn’t suitable to play those games under Windows, it’s doubtful if it will play them under Linux.
