Global Address Books?

Hello Everyone!

I am using Win98 (my work Computer) to share a global address book. Basically I send out updates via email or actually it's done automatically by the workstation.

The first problem is - when ever updates are sent out to a computer the workstations who receives the updates will not see the updates as email, but you can tell that they have been updates becuase the "contacts" option in the tree view is bold and now shows 153. Like the number of new messages a person may receive and not read yet.

The only way I can fix it is by right clicking and choosing mark all as read.????? Is there a better way?

I also have an Xp Professional that I would like to use to do this instead, but it doesn't let me even though I have administrator rights?
