Godaddy mailing form

By panoramix ·
I work on a web hosted by godaddy, and hit a snag.

I included a form and mailer to forward the collected info. At first everything was working fine, including the body (Some text) and the attachment. This was for several days.

Then while working on the format of the attachment suddenly the body of the email is no longer there. Attachment is ok, subject, etc all is ok. Only the body is missing.

I tried to email to unrelated providers: earthlink, yahoo.. with the same result. I did dump the message content before invoking the php mail instruction, and everything is there and is correct.

It seems that Godaddy strips the body, maybe because they consider the numerous testing I did as potential spam.

Did anybody else experienced that kind of issues? What would you suggest to troubleshoot

My suggestion would be...

Contact GoDaddy!!!!!!!!

They can check to see if the body of the email is being sent from their servers. It's always possible the receiving server is blocking it.

I did contact them, they will not help because it is in the script. I can tell you that:
1- the email is send with attachment
2- the from/to/subject/attachment are all correct at reception
3- what is missing is the body, a simple text
4- I did send it to different IP recepient domains (Earthlink, yahoo...) with the same result
5- I did dump the $message variable, who contains the body, and everything is there as expected
6- I suspect/am convinced that GoDaddy strips the content/body. I do not know why, therefore I cannot fix it.
Any other suggestions??
