Good Uninstalling

I use 98 SE, XP Pro, and 2k Pro machines between home and work. I have been using Norton Cleansweep to monitor installations and programs for years, but lately this program has been giving me nothing but headaches. It crashes on my XP system, and inmy 2k, it uninstall things from my system (Office, other programs, even its own files), and all I was uninstalling was a program that had checkboxes that only referred to the program itself. I am using the 2k3 version of the program.
Are there any other monitoring/uninstallers out there that does the same job as Norton Cleansweep, or even better?
