Google backup is full, I created new mail but I need only new data. How?

    by Moni_9620 ·

Mine google account storage is full. A backup is needed. So I created 1 more mail and gave backup to that new mail. But this new mail backs up all from starting. I don’t want from starting. I want only a new backup. Old back in one mail and new backup in one mail. Is that possible in Redmi Xiaomi Mobile?

I think that when you write “mail” you mean “Google account”. If you link your phone to that new account, it makes sense that they back up the full contents of your phone to that account.

Maybe it’s better to pay Google to have more storage, if you want to have a backup of the contents of your phone in the cloud. Or delete content on your phone so it fits in the free space you have now.

Yes, it is possible to create a new backup of your Google account on your Redmi Xiaomi mobile without overwriting the old backup. Here’s how you can do it:

      1. Open the Settings app on your Redmi Xiaomi mobile.
      2. Tap “Accounts & sync” or “Backup & reset” (depending on your device).
      3. Tap “Google” to access your Google account settings.
      4. Tap the account you want to create a backup for.
      5. Tap “Back up now” to start creating a new backup of your account.

You can also choose to select specific types of data to include in the backup, such as contacts, calendars, and app data.

Keep in mind that the new backup will be stored in the same location as the old backup, so you will need to use a different method to transfer the backup to a different email account. One option is to download the backup file from the original email account and then upload it to the new email account.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions.

Yes, it is possible to create a new backup of your Xiaomi Redmi mobile without overwriting the previous backup on your Google account. Here are the steps you can take:

On your Xiaomi Redmi mobile, go to “Settings” and then “Additional settings”
      Tap on “Backup & reset”
      Tap on “Local backups”
Select the data you want to back up, such as contacts, messages, and apps.
      Tap on “Back Up Now”
Once the backup is complete, you will be prompted to choose a location to save the backup file. Select “Google Drive” and log in to your new email account.
The backup will be saved to the new email account’s Google Drive.
Please note that some versions of Xiaomi Redmi phones may have different menus and settings, so you may need to search for the backup options in the settings.

In addition, it’s important to note that if you’re using a Xiaomi Redmi phone with MIUI, you also have the option to create a “Full backup” that will backup all your data and apps, and also you can use Xiaomi’s cloud service to backup your data.

It’s always a good idea to keep multiple backups of your data in different locations, like your computer or a USB drive to ensure that you can restore your data in case of a hardware failure or other issues.
