Hi, I have followed the instructions based on the brilliant gpo guide that was offered by techrepublic but nothing is happening.
I created a new GPO at the top level of my AD and set internet options so that a few sites are not allowed to be visited in the user configuration. Domain users have read and apply permissions and there is a group which I have added that has just read rights on the GP.
I have given it 36 hours to sync (I know I do not need that long with one w2k server but…) so when I log in with a domain user account who is not a member of the group that does not apply the GP nothing happens. The user is still allowed to visit the site that is in the refused site visit list.
Can anyone help as I am losing hair over this.
