GPU FAN SPEED GOING CRAZY

Hello guys,
I’m streamer and my stream started freezing sometimes since i got new pc with nVidia GeForce GTX 1080 Turbo OC 8GB by Gigabyte.
So what i did? Went to task manager and i could notice GPU usage of 100% and temp 85C* – 90C*, so the fan by that time worked normally wasn’t speeding or something it worked just normal and my stream was kinda lagging but the game was going smooth ASF (FiveM GTA V), so i came on tought to change maybe thermal paste to increase GPU cooling, i did it to my last pc it worked like charm. So i opened screws on GPU and everything that is neccessary to reach the GPU processor, cleaned old dry paste, placed new one (put the same ammount as on old pc and spread over the GPU cpu) put all together back, plugged in and now i wanted to test it when i opened game and StreamLabs OBS the GPU fan started going crazy like never before, sounds like im having Lamborghini Hurracane reving in my room .. So im wondering what may be the issue too much paste or not enough ? I have no idea all i know it’s annoying me asf right now..
Here are my PC specs:
CPU: Ryzen 7 3700X
RAM: Corsair 16GB 3200MHz
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 Turbo OC
SSD: 1TB M.2
SSD2: Crucial 512gb
HDD: 1TB SATA 3.5 Barracuda
MBO: Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming II
PSU: be quiet! 700WTopic is locked -

I have to wonder if the fan is starting to fail critically. How long have you had the computer? Is that the original graphics card? Any recent changes to the computer? Fans run faster and louder when the computer components start heating up. Did you build the system or was it a branded/pre-built system?

It was pre-build. Have it around 3 months, the GPU is original checked the ID and it is original.
UPDATE:
I fixed it, thing was i put less thermal paste than i was supposed to put, now it works like charm NVE graphics mod 10+ mods, game + stream and it works on 50% usage and 65C* :))

New? Shouldn’t need thermal paste.

While I see you fixed it, please avoid the word new if it’s not new.

If your GPU fan speed is going crazy, there are a few things you can do to

If your GPU fan speed is going crazy, it could be a sign of an underlying issue with your graphics card or its drivers. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
Check your GPU temperature: High GPU temperatures can cause the fan to spin faster to cool the card. You can use a monitoring tool like MSI Afterburner or GPU-Z to check your GPU temperature. If the temperature is too high, try increasing airflow to your PC or consider installing additional case fans.
Check for dust: If your GPU fan is running excessively loud, it could be due to dust buildup in your computer case or on your graphics card. Open your case and check for dust on your GPU fan blades and heatsinks. If you find dust, clean it out using compressed air or a soft brush.
Update your drivers: Outdated or corrupted graphics drivers can cause issues with fan speed. Visit the website of your GPU manufacturer and download the latest drivers for your card.
Check for overclocking: If you have overclocked your GPU, this can cause high temperatures and increased fan speeds. Try reducing the overclock or reverting to the default settings to see if it resolves the issue.
Replace the fan: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, the fan itself may be damaged or worn out. You can contact your GPU manufacturer for support or consider replacing the fan or the entire graphics card if it’s out of warranty.
In conclusion, if your GPU fan speed is going crazy, it’s important to take immediate action to prevent damage to your graphics card. By monitoring your GPU temperature, checking for dust buildup, updating drivers, and reducing overclocking, you can resolve the issue in many cases. If the issue persists, it may be time to replace the fan or graphics card altogether.

When you perceive that they come on it is just the temperature management system speeding them up because the CPU and or GPU have reached a certain temperature. Many gaming laptops have a combined CPU/GPU cooler so even if the GPU is idle if the CPU heats up too much then the fans speed up.
