Grid Control

By sharphillips ·
Can anyone give me the name of a good grid control to use in Visual Basic? It needs to
use DAO. I was looking at UltraGrid by
Infragistics, but it uses ADO.

Why wouldn't you not want to use the DBGrid or MSFlexGrid controls in VB? Just curious. I know there are some limitations with these grids, but unless you are going deep into being able to set detailed grid properties, etc., the ones included with VB6 are sufficient, of course, sometimes, with extra code and logic to get around some of the missing capabilities.
However, if you are planning on getting into it deep, then Component1 offers the VSFlexGrid Pro 6.0 and DBGrid Pro 7.0. You can purchase them seperately or in a package, (cheaper if you want both). The DBGrid Pro can be used with Visual Basic 5.0 and 6.0 environments. For the VSFlexGrid Pro the package includes 2 Grid OCXs: one for DAO (VSFlex6d.ocx) and one for ADO (VSFlex6.ocx).
